Project Description

The Country Club Water line has experienced a number of water main breaks and a combination of line replacement and relining is recommended for reliability of service. The line has a cast iron material from 7 Highway to Hillcrest and is slated for replacement. The material on the line east of Hillcrest is ductile iron and is slated for lining.

Current Status

February 2025: Tentatively scheduled for mid-March relining

November 2024: USG Contract signed; the relining process requires temporary water sources above the ground and weather above freezing; work will be scheduled for spring or later when temperatures are favorable

October 2024: Council approves contract with USG for SIPP relining

September 2024: City Council considers SIPP relining program
