Project Description
The Timber Street Pump House Renovation will renovate the City’s existing drinking water pump station, which has below grade, aging pumps. The pump station provides enough pressure to pump the City’s primary water supply and drinking water storage to the elevated water tower. The goal of construction will be to replace the pumps with variable frequency drive pumps and elevate the pumps above grade. New piping, valves, and all necessary appurtenances will be installed and old piping will be removed. An additional 20 linear feet of new yard piping will be installed to create a system redundancy and provide an emergency connection for the City.
